Lexie Day Out

Hi as we know I am Lexie! I have not been allowed to do many things since I started limping 3 weeks ago. So far it is not getting better. I’m not sure what the next step is. The X-rays showed nothing wrong with bones, no burs, fractures, no arthritis or tumors or cysts and joints were all just right!

BTW this is the toy I chew on when I get bored and frustrated. I can chew as hard as I want and it always survives ;)

So since I have had limited activities for 3 weeks, Mom took me with her for a car ride. I love to ride in the car!! I don’t care where we go or even if we don’t get out, I just love to go. Mom got out her car and I jumped in. She started it up, put the window down and we were ready to go.

While we were out, Mom stopped to get a prescription. Since they have an outside window Mom was where I could see her all the time ( I have to watch to make sure she is Ok). While we were there 4 people asked Mom what kind of dog I was and they came over to pet me. They told me how beautiful I was and gave me a lot of attention. Yes, I love attention and for people to tell me I am beautiful (Ok I’m vain!). We had a really great ride and a lot of fun. We made it home in time for dinner:-)

See you later,
Lexie

*At the time this was published my leg was getting better*

Thank you Bongo I am glad too but not enough patience. Today (Saturday) I go for. Acupuncture. I must admit to being a little afraid :(

Hi Lexie. I had something similar last year and was limping for about a week. My vet came to see me and said that I had twisted a muscle or ligament. I was ok after a while. Get better soon x

Thanks for the update, Lexie. I was wondering how you were doing. Glad you were able to get out for a little bit.

Don’t be afraid of acupuncture. I had it for a back injury. Doesn’t hurt at all.

    Get well soon.

You do look quite content chewing on that chew toy even though your leg is sore. I sure hope it is feeling better soon. Car rides make the pain less I am sure. Such fun times with the wind in your fur! : )
