While Lexie was taking a car ride with Mom, Dad decided to take me on my first woods walk in weeks. Here we are heading for the woods!

I do not like to go as well without Mom and Lexie, but I love the walks and am not going to turn Dad down.
When we go alone, I do not have to worry about where anyone else wants to go. I don’t have to make sure that the others are OK, I can just take off the direction I want to go and Dad will follow. The only real rule is that I have to be in sight at all times.
So since Dad doesn’t blog and Mom wasn’t on the walk we will have more pictures than thoughts.
Here we go,

After being cooped up with Lexie’s lack of play walks, etc. I just needed some good exercise and open space

Woods were empty and ready to explore! Every once in a while I would stop and look around to see if Mom
& Lexie had decided to come. Still just me and dad.

That tree just broke!! And look up there, someone is building a little bridge. Wonder where that goes, guess we’ll have to find out when Mom & Lexie are with us!?

Well I think it’s time for a quick swim before heading home.

Ok Dad come on its time to go home!

We worked are way back up to our home and saw Lexie sitting there waiting for us

Hopefully next time we all will walk together.
Mica

No snow! What a fab walk.. tho I know what you mean about it being odd not walking all together. If I go out with dad on my own I always look back to see if mum’s coming, so it must seem really odd for you to go out without your mum and your sis Lexie. Hope it won’t be long before you can all go out together.

Lexie’s leg is getting slowly better but still not up to woods walking. Yes it is so much more fun with all of us. Hoping our next walk is everyone
PS. Hoping we’ll get one with snow, can’t seem to get anything but rain

You sure were having a great time, Mica! Woods walks are the best. That’s a wonderful pool you have for swimming. I only have the swamp and since I’m only one foot tall, Mom won’t even hear of it. But My Rottwieler bro Atticus goes right in and she never says a word to him. Hmmm… I need some of those growth hormones or something,
I’m looking forward to pics from you and Lexie.
And thanks for checking out my blog.

Such an adventure! A little sad that Lexie was not there and you seemed to be anticipating her. Hopefully she will be back to walking with you all the time, soon, and hopefully in some snow. : )

Great photos!! Loved to see where you went on your walk. It’s strange for us Berner Girls when we don’t walk together. We also keep looking to see if the other one is coming along. xx
