Rain, rain. That is all we are getting! One day of sun, 2 to 3 days of rain. It’s almost February and we have not had any fun snow!!! This time last year we had had at least 2 snow woods walks in this

This year nothing!! Someone please send snow to SE Ohio. We are so sick of rain !
Yesterday evening we spent most of our time standing outside in the rain.
Lexie was so frustrated she started begging Dad to walk in rain. Dad said it’s pouring outside but Lexie would not give up. She said I’m soaked already

(picture taken at earlier time)
Dad was totally dry but finally decided to let her walk. It was pouring, Dad told Lexie he was getting soaked but she didn’t seem to mind!? Lexie took about a 20 minute walk just to see if her friends were out but found no one. After getting home Lexie curled up contentedly on her bed to dry & go to sleep.
Dad however had coat, jeans, socks, etc. and himself to get dried off ![]()
We really need some snow!!!
*Mica chose not to walk, but to just curl up and dry off

i’m waiting for snow too, but we’ve had mostly warm sunny days here so I can’t complain. I hope you get some snow soon.

We get a tiny bit of snow and then it melts and we have rain which makes mud. When Lexie gets wet, she sure is wet. I bet it takes awhile for her to dry.

Yes, we towel off but she takes a couple hours to dry completely unless warm & sunny. But, no baths their coat brushes clean (we get baths for grooming just not dirt).

This looks and sounds familiar. Just took Miss Stella out the other night in a downpour because there was no relief in sight and she needed a good walk. Nothing like a soaked Newf! : )

We have no grooming dryers so she gets a a towel-off and can dry in the sun if warm or soak my rug while drying if not:(

Woof! Hello, it’s the Bernese Mountain Dog girls here in MA to tell you that we had a snowstorm right before Halloween (lost power for 4 days!) Since then, only one real day of snow. We love the snow and can’t understand what’s happening with the weather. Hope you have some snow soon. Love your blog. Sometimes people confuse us Berners with Newfies! x

In Southern Ohio we usually get asked what kind of dog. A few guess right on Mica (blk) but no one gets Lexie (Landseer). I have only met 1 Berner puppy, he was adorable we talk to owner a while but would love to learn more! Thanks for the visit
